

Geoff is proud to be associated with Bankside Rep, and looks forward to many happy and successful shows with the company. He teaches professional, private workshops in Shakespeare in Performance, Improvisation-Short and Long Form, Solo Performance/Storytelling, Public Speaking and Mask Technique. Abroad, he has been a company member of the Tavistock Repertory Company (London) and the Shakespeare Institute Players (Stratford-upon-Avon, UK).

He has worked with such companies as the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, the Court Theatre, New American Theatre, the Organic Theatre, Ivanhoe Theatre, Drury Lane Water Tower, Coronet Theatre and the Halsted Theatre Center all in the Chicago area. He is an Artistic Associate with Triumvirate Films, (L.A.), and most recently he became one of the founding members of Bankside Repertory Theatre Company where he writes, performs and serves as the Producing Director.Geoff has had extensive training in performance: Northwestern University, Second City Conservatory, American Conservatory Theatre, and the Shakespeare Institute. Louis area and branched out to directing here, in Colorado and in Los Angeles. A member of Actor’s Equity Association since the mid-90’s, Geoff had his own production company-Apocrypha Productions-in Chicago, where he was also the Artistic Director of the Bell & Dragon Theatre Co. For the last twelve years, teaching at the college level has been of great interest, and has allowed Geoff to explore and experiment with theory and application.

When he is not acting, he is frequently busy directing, writing and consulting for stage and screen productions. Geoff has been a working actor for the past thirty years, playing a variety of roles in big cities and exotic locations.
